The Ready to Go: Guided Reading series gives teachers everything they need for their guided reading groups. Each 80-page book features 36 leveled readers (6 copies of 6 nonfiction topics), focusing on one of four reading comprehension strategies: Infer, Connect, Question, and Summarize. The readers contain short, high-interest, nonfiction texts on a theme, plus callout boxes, photographs, charts, and maps. Each book concludes with discussion guides for the readers, a guided reading model, a graphic organizer, and a recording sheet. 80 pages.
